Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
- Arrive at Kochi airport/railway station
- Check into your hotel and freshen up
- Visit Fort Kochi to see the Chinese fishing nets and St. Francis Church
- Watch a Kathakali dance performance in the evening
- Overnight stay in Kochi
Day 2: Kochi to Munnar
- After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a scenic hill station (130 km, approximately 4 hours)
- En route, visit the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls
- Reach Munnar and check into your hotel
- In the evening, visit the tea gardens and explore the local market
- Overnight stay in Munnar
Day 3: Munnar
- After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar
- Visit the Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point
- Visit the Kundala Lake and enjoy boating (optional)
- Visit the Top Station to enjoy the panoramic view of the Western Ghats
- Return to your hotel in the evening
- Overnight stay in Munnar
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady
- After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a beautiful town known for its wildlife sanctuary (90 km, approximately 3 hours)
- Reach Thekkady and check into your hotel
- Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake
- In the evening, attend a Kalaripayattu show, a traditional martial art form of Kerala
- Overnight stay in Thekkady
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey
- After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (140 km, approximately 4 hours)
- Reach Alleppey and check into your houseboat
- Enjoy a backwater cruise through the serene backwaters of Alleppey
- Overnight stay in the houseboat
Day 6: Alleppey to Kochi and Departure
- After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kochi (60 km, approximately 1.5 hours)
- If time permits, visit the Dutch Palace and the Jewish Synagogue in Kochi
- Departure from Kochi airport/railway station
